Lake Tahoe Winter Adventure
Lake Tahoe is a winter-time paradise-a spectacular Alpine lake, world-class ski resorts, and an abundance of sunny days. You will have an opportunity to ski (or learn to ski), ice skate, and either snowshoe or go "tubing" down an exciting local sledding hill. A lift ticket at each resort is included. Your Western adventure includes a trip to the quaint Old West town of Virginia City, made famous by the "Bonanza" TV series-a town that still looks very much the way it did during its Wild West days.

Day 2
Breakfast at hotel.
Travel to Northstar Ski Resort and spend the day enjoying this varied and family-oriented resort and a good introduction to skiing and the region. We will help you arrange ski or snowboard lessons if you need them. A lift ticket for the day is included in the cost of your tour. After check in at your hotel in the quaint Western town of Truckee, we will have dinner before turning in for the night.
Day 3
Breakfast at hotel.
Today we head to Squaw Valley in beautiful Olympic Valley. Spend the day at the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics and a spectacular resort destination. Again, your lift ticket is included, and we are happy to assist you in arranging for ski or snowboard lessons. Dinner will be in a local restaurant.
Day 4
Breakfast at hotel.
More winter time fun today! We will transport you to a local snowshoe or tubing area for some outdoor adventure. This afternoon, we travel around Lake Tahoe, with picture stops and a break for lunch on your own along the lake shore. After checking in at your Reno hotel, you will enjoy a festive Mexican dinner and have a chance to go ice skating beside the Truckee River.
Day 5
Breakfast at hotel.
The wild west town of Virginia City is our destination for today. Explore this historic old mining town with its saloons and wooden sidewalks and enjoy lunch on your own at a local restaurant. Travel to Carson City and tour this quaint town before having dinner at a popular barbeque spot. Back in Reno, enjoy a fun final evening at the Circus Circus arcade with your friends.
