The heart of this nation is our capital, Washington in the District of Columbia. It is a visionary city of monuments and broad avenues, with much to see and do. Philadelphia, known as the City of Brotherly Love, and was a major center of the independence movement during the American Revolutionary War. The Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were drafted here and signed in the city's Independence Hall.
